Bama started attacking us by driving on our guards when we extended our defense out by the time line. Be interested if we adjust that or just continue to take our chances by helping.

Watching these guys play defense is just plain awesome. I know it's not sexy, but we can flat out stifle a team when our heart is set on it. The way we are shooting, we should be down double digits. If the lid comes off and we stay on them, we really could pull off the W.

Gave you a like because you are correct. I posted a few comments that this team can’t shoot. The only way to fix it is to recruit pure shooters. Vescovi isn’t the same this yr. Teams are defending him more, plus he has an injured shoulder. JJJ isn’t playing tonight, but he had dropped off this yr. My hope is we score inside in the second half and hopefully someone will catch fire. Our bigs are missing from six feet out, too.

This is the game where halftime adjustments will dictate the outcome of the game. Bama is going to come out ready, we have to be ready and have an answer on the offensive end.

They must shoot better from the free throw line. With JJJ and JP out . . . ON and Key must step up.

@ Yankee, you are correct. I was hesitant to post as I thought for sure someone would call me a nega Vol. 😆. It’s frustrating to see as Uros is 7’1.

Aidoo missed some easy shots, too, and our foul shooting is atrocious.

I’m concerned Bama will pull away as they willl attack the rim, get open threes, and get to the foul line.

Turnovers kept TN in the game in the first half.

Really not impressed with Bama. Miller is great, but we are doing a decent job in limiting him and ZZ does not good job on the point guards..Not sure where the threat is elsewhere on their team. We just gotta hit our open shots and free throws.

Let’s hope the refs don’t decide to call so tight they end up punishing Tennessee for playing intense defense this half.
