Agree with you. UT would have clearly won 3 out of 4 QTRs except for the refs killed 2 QTRs of points.Numbers don't lie. We literally lost one quarter. We outscored FL every quarter except the 2nd quarter. Calm down. They sky only fell for 15 minutes. SOOOOO many of you are showing your ignorance of playing or even watching a team sport.
Thank you Freak for including an ignore button that is easy to access. Not joking.
ah, the ole reliable "we won on stats" narrativeNumbers don't lie. We literally lost one quarter. We outscored FL every quarter except the 2nd quarter. Calm down. They sky only fell for 15 minutes. SOOOOO many of you are showing your ignorance of playing or even watching a team sport.

Okay, you yourself just proved my point. “The first half”. Exactly. They pulled their crap together, did Milton? Defense allowed, I think I head at one point up to only 50 yards until one run was broken at the very end. What did Milton do? 3 stalled drives. Throws into the dirt. Mismanaged clock. Overthrows, bad reads, ignorant decisions, throws into d-linemen’s hands…the list goes on. Was the first half solely on Milton? Not at all. But was the game still winnable in the second? Absolutely. Did he step up? No.Our defense was putrid in the first half--which basically cost us the game--and we couldn't run the ball for a big part of the game. So to just blame the loss on Milton is unfair. Is he as good as Hooker, no. But that means your team has to bring it in other ways to win games--meaning play good defense and run the ball. That's what well-coached teams do. This idea that, well, our QB didn't complete 75 percent of his passes and rally us from 20 down to the win the game and so is "garbage" is a garbage comment.
Milton didn't lose them that game. He's a solid QB who if you get him moving he's going to struggle like most QBs at this level. He had some very nice throws tonight. Both TD throws were darts. The throw to Thornton was likely his best of the year. He missed squirrel bully a foot. His worst throws were the two balls he ran into the ground. The last one against McCoy he had to move his feet. I actually think Joe played his best game tonight that's hes played this year. You really don’t understand football do you. Smdh if you say joe Milton is a good qb or in public you’ll be laughed at for not knowing a damn thing
I like Joe. He’s a great young man. He’s played good at times. At this point with all the inconsistencies it’s time to realize he isn’t the answer. It’s tough to say why that is because he is a physical specimen with all the tools but he just doesn’t get the job done.
Something is definitely wrong. It's hard to figure out what Heupel is doing. He can't really believe this super conservative play calling will work in the SEC.
If Joe can't run his usual offense he's got to find better calls than we've seen. Screen, run up the middle, screen is not a workable offense.
If Heupel is a "one trick pony" and can ONLY run the uptempo, quick read offense, we're not going to have success with that unless he gets QBs that are ready for it.
