Great win and great performance, but hard to really be happy or too amped about what it means for our chances in March without our floor general at point….this just sucks.

Why not just take a moment to enjoy the win? I get it that ZZ is an important piece to the puzzle, but the doom and gloom attitude about our chances in March after tonight doesn’t make a lot of sense given how well we played without ZZ.

We will see how things go Saturday when a team has had time to game plan for us without ZZ, but I suspect we have the pieces to make do.

He’s literally playing tonight better than his “all year average”…..

50% tonight from floor and 3 point when he’s been well under 40% from both…

More assists and rebounds than his average.

Oh he’s even had more steals than his average too.


All while playing a new position pretty much. Too say he’s been putting up this type of stat line all year while running the offense is not reality.

He’s played PG plenty since he’s been here
He averages 13pts 5Rbs 3 AST 2 Stls a game while hitting 36% from 3 so he’s pretty spot on for his year .
