They were awful too. It’s what you get with Pat Adams. A bad charge call on Chandler is the difference in the game. You can’t excuse bad officiating either.

I agree. Still, I think poor post player recruiting has put us in a bind as far as what kind of adjustments we can make. Barnes has made up his mind he's not going to play BHH very much for one reason or another. Uros is an offensive liability, ORN is mediocre. You're pretty much left with Fulky in the post. Based on what you said, Barnes is a pretty horrible coach. Otherwise, why play an “ offensive liability” and a “ mediocre” player over a future NBA first rounder?

Sadly, yes. Not a Top-25 team. Shades of last year where after the Mizzou game we had Rob Dauster and Aaron Torres saying how we might be the best team in the country. In reality, we have no offense. No inside game. No perimeter game. Just no identity.

Yep. It's pretty impossible to get a better look than Vescovi did in the closing seconds, and from a career 36ish% 3-point shooter.

This game has been really disappointing. It would be one thing if we lost a game where we played well and Texas Tech was just better. That would be encouraging and I could accept that. But, this consistent theme of being inept offensively has me thinking that this team isn't as good as I was hoping.

I’d probably agree, but it’s game 8. And Powell, KC, BHH, ZZ weren’t here last season.

Fulk & JJJ already missed games with injuries.

Santi has to learn to defend cleaner, every game we’ve looked bad in he got in early foul trouble.

We have to see someone emerge inside. Also gotta rebound better.

I am fine with a young team full of talent having hiccups early in the season, but if this is how we play in February/March I will be a bit more critical of Barnes.
