Several takeaways.

#1 We win this handily with our 2 best players.

#2 We led for 95% of the night

#3 Got some needed big game experience for backups in a game where a loss doesn’t hurt us.

#4 3 PT shooting has got to improve, idk how but we aren’t going deep in March if it doesn’t.

We have a roster full of people who can't score. Who you can't even trust to give it to within 5 feet of the basket. One of the guys who can score inside can't get in the game. It's maddening how the roster is filled with people incapable of scoring.

ZZ is better than VB, regardless of experience. Just as KC is even better regardless of experience. That’s the parallel. That’s the only argument I need because it’s idiotic to think that a ****** player should play over a good player because ****** player is more experienced. There are things more important than experience. Like being good at basketball, which ZZ is and VB isn’t. KC is a more extreme example of that principle, which I used to help you see it. I’m sorry it didn’t take.

Does Barnes feel like his owes something to Bailey? Playing him over Powell just because he has been in the program longer will get your ass beat. Bailey does nothing better than Powell on either end of the court. Powell is the better shooter.

And why is Barnes drawing up plays for VICTOR BAILEY OH MY GOD. Powell sitting as much as he did that half makes no sense. The way those final 7-8 game minutes went completely ruined how I felt the team fought the rest of the night.

Please make this team shoot 10,000 shots a day until their legs fall off. We are so inconsistent on that end of the court.

Let’s not blame the refs. We lost the game. We had so many chances to pull away and didn’t. Too many missed shots. The Vols are a poor shooting team with the exception of Vescovi and Powell. And both of them lack consistency.
Bama had a horrible game beyond the arc, less than 25%, yet still won the game. The refs allowed both teams to play.
I hate to admit it but I agree w some posters regarding the lineup w Uros and Bailey getting so many minutes.
