I've said it already. This team has played nobody this year. This game exposed us.

We were smashing them. We decided to give up the Martinez special immediately out of half time. Then our rookie coordinator forgot how to clap plays that worked. Then bama tradition we give up the annual scoop and score.

The play calling was so much better last year but then again so was the QB and receivers.

Heupel does not trust Milton ... so why not give Nico a shot?

You can be mad at the staff all you want. 20-7. Then 34-20. Has nothing to do with the staff.

You do understand that one of the positions on the staff coaches our worthless secondary? Another of those positions calls the offensive plays. If you think we displayed skillful playcalling in the second half, you might need to watch more football.

The staff also recruits, and, believe it or not, they get to do this thing called coaching, whereby they spend time with the players multiple days (theoretically at least) during the week and can actually sometimes prepare said players to play well. Did it appear to you that our team was well-prepared for this game? Keep in mind before you answer that a game is four quarters, not two; some coaching staffs are actually aware of this and plan accordingly.

It is what it is. This team is a 7-9 win team when everything is working as it should. If the offense can’t run it, they have to rely on Milton and you never know what you’re going to get. The defense has been good but has huge lapses when they can’t get to the QB in time. If we beat UK and go 4-1 over the last 4, that’s good. We can still win 10 and maybe knock off UGA at home (not likely) but that’s a successful season.

No the play calling changed and we went conservative. We also played a base defense most of the 2nd half. Very few if any blitzing. The rule on the fair catch is dumb. A legal fair catch requires the hand above your shoulder. Putting your arms out is NOT a fair catch. Going for it on 4th and 1 in your own territory ..... Worst coaching I have seen from Heupel. We clearly need a real OC that is experienced in translating what he is seeing and ways we can exploit it. Refs were terrible. However we got our asses whipped in the 2nd half
