I gave up early in the 4th quarter with the turnover. Didn't like the words fixin' to come out of my mouth so decided to switch gears, turn on some music (Sheryl Crow) and do something useful around the house. Just don't need the aggravation. Lesson I learned years ago. My anger and frustration don't change the outcome of the game.

Need an “insurrection” at the SEC offices on Monday morning. The willful ignorance and intentional incompetence of the SEC refs is unconscionable. If I was HC, I would not be afraid to absolutely roast these refs, excoriate them to the Nth degree and the SEC Office for allowing this to continue. Fine me.

If you told me we would outgain Bama, win the turnover battle and gave Milton’s stat line of 28/41 271 yards, 2 TDs, no picks and 59 TDs rushing I would’ve said we win. Of course our coach basically gave them 2 turnovers that don’t count as turnovers. Also, Bama averaged 7 penalties a game coming in and had 1 for 5 yards.

Yep… Milton wasn’t the problem. The D was invisible the second half

I think if we can get a win against Kentucky be competitive with Mizzou and UGA . . . And maybe win a bowl game to finish 9-4 and probably raked in the 20’s . . . He will be viewed as steering us well in a transition year.

A loss to Kentucky will be catastrophic for him and use up a ton of goodwill.

A blowout loss to Mizzou will bring echoes of our loss to USC last year.

Alabama seems to consistently play extremely clean ball on the third third Saturday in October. Hmm. Last year when Tennessee was shooting for the playoff was the first time in this series in a long time that Alabama was penalized. There’s something going on, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

Play calling, defensive allignment, making dumb choices like calling inside runs on 4th and 1 in your own territory when a score gives them the lead on the road. Conservative out of the half. Getting punked by zebras weekly. Call their ass out. Send it to whoever you have to. Congress would love a piece of that pie. Sure the FBI can identify payrolls and subpoena replay discussions etc. The system is broken in regards to officiating. But the reason we lost is because we didnt finish the game. We played like we were scared in the 2nd half. And yes it is absolutely at the head mans feet. We completely went away from what we were doing in the first half.
