C’mon ON doesn’t belong on the “ not very good list” - that is ridiculous. Bailey will help us win some games this year, too if he doesn’t check out mentally. Plavsic is a plodder but I don’t know any team that has 13 studs on their team.

ON isn’t as good as BHH though. ON should get some minutes but BHH is better.

Bailey is a losing basketball player. He just is. He doesn’t have any shot IQ, he can’t handle the ball, he doesn’t play hard on defense consistent. He slows the offense down. Good kid, but he doesn’t need minutes on this team. And with Ziegler’s breakout today there is zero reason Bailey should play.

They took advantage of the film study to the max. Pretty clear emotions had them out of sync yesterday, and that happens to almost every team somewhere along the way. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks they can reach hard conclusions about this team based on yesterday's or today's games. Too early to even attempt a trend analysis. Glad this team did not let the first half of yesterday's game linger too long, worked out a few kinks yesterday and a bunch today.... great coaching and great acceptance of coaching. Incredible the amount of time we had three freshmen out there today when ON had to go to the bench. Lastly, a week or so ago Barnes said he could see all three of Santi, KC and ZZZ on the floor at the same time and bingo banggo it came to pass.... Gonna be a fun year at a minimum.

ZZ/chandler/Powell getting a lot of attention at the guard spots as newcomers, but vescovi has been really impressive so far this season. 17 puts, 9 rebounds today after being the only guy that really showed up yesterday. Looking like moving offball is going to really help him this year.

It’s not personal- I just get tired of reading criticism all of the time.

BHH will grow as the season goes, but he has a lot of room on the defensive end to grow. Mainly just missing assignments/getting lost. ORN looks like a more complete player at this point in the season IMO, but BHH is clearly talented and we’ll need him to step up.

Give BHH all of plavsics minutes and I wouldn’t have a gripe.

Bailey is a very streaky shooter who is very capable of hitting 5 3’s in a game when he gets on a roll but if he isn’t nailing 3’s he doesn’t need to play as much and ZZ will cut into his time going forward like he did today. We don’t know when we are going to need VB to help us win a game but I still think he will.

Totally agree BHH has more upside than ON- UT needs both of them plus a rejuvenated Fulkerson to carry the load in the paint. Agree that UP’s minutes should be limited.

We have Powell who is a better shooter and player than Bailey for that. I promise you, we don’t need Bailey to play for this team to be very good.

It still doesn’t make what I said untrue. Bailey has been mostly a negative since SEC play last year and doesn’t need to be in the rotation. And while ON is useful BHH is better than him and Uros and needs more minutes. There was no need for Bailey to be in the rotation this weekend or Uros to play as much as he did yesterday. Barnes corrected it, shortened the rotation and adjusted and we had our best half when we played our best players.

It turned out to be a good matchup. ZZZ was able to play a ton of minutes and a bunch of those with KC at the 2. There will be matchups when that won’t work well.
