I’ve never seen a shooter like Gainey who hasn’t earned the right to fire away have the green light that he has. Constantly chucking up shots. He is killing this team. He has been killing this team for a month.

I don’t understand why we continue to help off of shooters when teams drive. It’s like we are still playing 1990s defense instead of knowing that they are going to drive and kick. We help down way too much, I know that was something that @bleedingTNorange had mentioned before as well. It continues to burn us on 3 pointers.

They need to attack the basket more, less pull up jumpers. Get into the paint

When we go cold from the field it is icy. Missed three or four layup couldn't get to the line. Not a great half for us.
