NIT? Please keep your trolling to the RF for all our sakes. Some things will never, never change with our Bball team--- just can't complete a half of average or slightly above average shooting. How can a team with this much talent each season, AT HOME, shoot so poorly over and over again? We are never gonna get calls from the officials. Only way to solve that is actually make shots and layups like scholarship bball players should.
Maybe something will click in the second half. Maybe Vescovi will remember how to shoot the 3 and ZZ will find the basket. This team is once again very frustrating to watch. To think analysts at the first of the season were saying we had a chance to cut down nets... With this shooting, maybe at the NIT but not the Dance...
He is he only player who is playing up to his potential. The rest of the players are missing wide open shots from all over the floor. The players are not taking advantage of the coaching which is getting them in position to score and rebound. I put this squarely on the players. Fin the 6-7 who want to play hard and turn them loose. From what I have seen of the big Freshmen, we have some talent there who ,seem to want to be aggressive. They are raw, but if the old vets don't want to play the game, give the young guys an opportunity to show what they have learned and can do. Vescovi can make a difference when he gives the effort. We better get some calls in the 2nd half...Hopefully Knect stays out of foul trouble and goes off in the 2nd half. Why not try someone else instead of Gainey? Plenty of guys sitting on the bench
