Did anybody ever hear what they finally called on the play right before the half with Fulky? I thought I heard they made a ruling change during the half. Is that true? They can't move that foul to Santi if that is what they did because the call was a player control charge call, you know the one with the hand on the back of the head with a forward lunge with the other hand.
Did anybody get the whole truth?
If they changed it to a SV foul, then it was a good call. But, if it was on Fulk, horrible call
If we win out and win the tourney we absolutely get a 2 seed. If we win out and lose in the tourney 3 seed. Drop the Arky game next weekend and probably a 4 unless we win the tourney. Lot of work left to do!
I think we win our and get to the championship game.
...drive...by...mutha...fokkers....The absolute bias of the officiating in the first half was obvious and I have no doubt in my mind that those refs were talked to by someone higher up because they did a 360 in the second half…lol at some of our fans questioning the offense in the first half in this thread when the main culprit to the problem was the unfair calls…also hilarious those same fans decided not to post anymore after we won
I love those two guys but let’s get real, we ain’t losing a game with Banchero, Smith, Chandler, ZZ, and Vescovi. It’s almost good that it didn’t happen because we would’ve become the Golden State Warriors for a season. We probably do not get Aidoo or Huntley-Hatfield if Banchero and Smith had come here.
The inside attack and future looks very bright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I’m an opposing coach and I’m down 10 to UT with 2:00 left I’m doing the hard press and telling my guys to foul Chandler on purpose as soon as they get to halfcourt.Chandler ended the game one of four from the charity stripe. Missed both @ end of game when we were in double bonus. Made or Missed fouls shots impact close games in March.
About as bad as that was the Auburn guy hooking Aidoo around the neck as he rolled down the lane to the basket. Pass flew out of bounds instead of Aidoo getting a dunk. It was blatant and they didn’t call it.How can that be? They were both running towards Fulky and converged with the defender coming from behind trying to cut off his path to the ball. They both contacted Fulky's chest. Santi can, the defender cannot. There was ZERO defensive position, in fact I have the best replay frozen on my screen right now and the defender has one foot clearly behind both of Santi's feet with a left arm across the front of his numbers right before the contact that knocked Fulky down. You can see both of Santi's feet beyond the three point line and both of the other guys inside of it before their last step before contact. Wish I could screen shot this. Santi was trying to get to Fulky's outside left shoulder for a handoff but was denied.
The real giveaway that it was a horrible call is that Pat Adams looked over at the table and our bench with the I just swallowed a canary look as the chorus of boos came upon them. For once he is just guilty by association and not really any remedy available to him.
Any call against UT there was world class bad and wreaks of bias. At worst they could have a play on on Santi and the defenders contact before the guy leveled Fulky. This on top of Kessler trying to cut off Santi at the 49 sec mark and his lead leg taking out Santi's knees costing us a turnover and we get a NO CALL per Ravich. Guessing halftime updates from their bosses made the game more evenly called in the second half. They did let a lot get by on both sides.
