Barnes said after game 1 that the first priority on offense is to look for the 3. We've shifted philosophy. When you live and die by the 3, you're gonna die eventually. Today is that day. We'll beat teams by 30 and lose to teams by 30. That's just what that playstyle lends itself to.

I don’t want to hear another complaint about Vescovi the rest of the year. He is the only dude that showed up to play today. He is still fighting, meanwhile Bailey doesn’t even try and run after just losing the basketball. Every one else on the roster needs to do some serious reflection and look inward after this game otherwise it’s going to be an ugly year.

Barnes, please give Powell more minutes and sit Bailey for good.

Nowhere near it but I expected a better game than this. It’s an off game against a good team and it happens. We will be ok but it’s definitely disappointing.

I don’t care what he makes. If he made 100k, everyone would still expect wins. I don’t pay it.

I’ve never said he’s a special coach. He has some flaws. But some of you guys in here use the end to justify the means. You don’t care for Barnes, so you use some BS about some of our other coaches who were awful. Using Cuonzo Martin to compare with Barnes is asinine. Not even close.

I’d expect wins sure, but if we are gonna pay him top 5 money I’d like to not be down 23 in a top 25 matchup.

Cuonzo has made as many sweet sixteens as Barnes as and did in half the time

Barnes is better than Cuonzo sure, but bringing up Cuunzo or Green just shows that it isn’t that hard we can get coaches that can get similar results.

Nope. I would not. I’d rather have Chandler get 3 fouls than see this thing get to 20 points. I said that in many posts. It does not matter one lick if your guy saves that extra foul if you are down by 20. Who cares at that point?
