I agree 100%. Dk's injury is significant. My professional opinion. I effing hate it.

After just a few hours of sleep it's time to get up and at it today. I'm proud to be a Vol! Did we play perfectly? NO. But we are 2-0 and just played in the largest Football game ever. What a game! What a show!! We won and are looking like we are getting things back together. We need to get back to our run offense and then open up some of the throwing deep after we get that established. Go Vols. Let's get Ohio next and then get ready for the Gators and a W in that one! I pray that Kirkland is ok with his ankle injury.

You get an "F" for reading comprehension. What does Dobbs making them look silly have to do with what I said. Did creative play calling help him make the defense look silly as you say. That answer would be no. I don't care if it was a "OMG Bud Foster" defense or a Punky Brewster led defense. Did the offensive play calling keep them off balance? That answer would be no.

Sometimes I wonder what game some of you people are even watching. See how that works.

At 0-14, I was feeling sad + blue. I was ready to bench Dobbs and fahr Butch. Then we outscored them 45-10, and I was happy again. It was beautiful to see Tuttle and terrible to see what happened to Kirkland, but we'll survive. On to Ohio, then the dreaded Gators.

We will not be able to replace Kirkland if he is out long-term or the season. He totally balanced out the Defense at the second level. Hopefully Cortez will be able to slide over or Sapp or Bynum or Bryant or anyone but the subpar alternative that took his place and got beat just about every play and was out of position all night. Definitely a huge loss.

It wasn't your OPINION I had a quarrel with. It was your assumption that the other posters on this board had no idea how important Kirkland is. I knew! How about we have a roll call for the clueless on this board? If the MAJORITY have no idea, I'll apologize...fair? :thumbsup:

Here is the problem, I never once personally called out anyone in particular. Maybe I worded it wrong and should've stated that common fans may not realize how big of a loss this could be. Several of the people around me, while watching the game acted like losing Kirkland was no big deal! I never once said butchna doesn't realize!! More noise is being made about Berry being injured than Kirkland!! You could've simply said that you thought people did understand the severity of it but you didn't and it's the way you came at me that really got my attention! Some of the posters on here always have to try to make someone look stupid and unknowledgeable like they have some sort of inferiority complex and are scared someone besides themselves may know a little something about football. so the first you go and do is try to make someone look stupid or my favorite, "not a real fan". You've still got your 30,000+ posts and you're still king of the message board,so don't sweat it, cause I'm a big boy and I can take it, I just hope you can do the same cause Believe me, I've seen some of your "posts" and the insight you bring! Did I ever once, throughout my post, say that everyone on this site are morons and I'm giving you my knowledge because of this?? Nope, not once! So because I post something that says I think Kirkland is a huge loss and a lot of people may not realize how huge, you get to tell me to go discover Hurd or something, like I just now found out what a key player he is for this defense and don't know anything about Tennessee football. And you get to just assume that I'm calling you a moron and saying you don't realize this, so I'm gonna tell you about it because I'm the only one that gets it. The silly thing is this, I did nothing but state my opinion and someone wanted to completely twist it into me calling everyone idiots and come at me in a jacka$$ way, but I will be the bad guy here because I'm not backing down from these clowns and because I'm not in the 30,000 post clique!!
