I would be fine with the playcall if it went to Vescovi. But with the refs just calling a BS foul...you should drive and see if they would even it up or make a layup

Why....just why is it JJJ who gets the last shot there?

That aside, there are two key plays that come to mind immediately that cost us the game:
1) ORN's unbelievably stupid half court foul at the end of the first half
2) the foul that JJJ didn't commit but got called for that ended up giving Texas the one point lead.

Plenty of others where we shot ourselves in the foot, but those two, amongst a number of missed shots at the rim, cost us this game.

He did make 3 of our 5 threes before that. Vescovi was the one that couldn’t hit anything tonight surprisingly. He was a complete no show.

It's a hot shooter with an open shot. On the surface it seems like a good shot but JJJ just doesn't have the mentality to step up and make that shot.
