While not being stellar if the offense could even run a play I guarantee you this D would look 100% different. They have done a credible job the last 2 weeks until the offense just sucks every ounce of give a damn out of them while simultaneously wearing them out. ITS THE OFFENSE THAT IS KILLING THIS TESM. Nico has shown more football IQ in his 5 minutes of playing time this year than Milton has his entire 6 year career

The simple fact is that CH is handicapped with a secondary that has been woeful for three years and has a mediocre QB who is too slow, too dumb, and too scared that he is going to get hurt. We are lucky to be where we are. CJH is so handicapped that he cannot call the plays he wants

So in those three years Heupel couldn't recruit at least 2 DBs who can cover? Seems like a bed of his own making.

Exactly Kirby learned from the Dobbs Nail Boot. He seen that clip enough. This 100% is the keep everything in front of you and if the opponent takes it you tackle in field of play and game over.

Joe Milton gives us no chance to win. If Nico doesn’t start the 2nd half, I’ll question Heupel’s competitiveness.

Most coaches make a chance when it becomes obvious that the current starter can’t take you where you want to go. So far CJH has refused to give our offense a chance to find a spark.

People just overreact during the game. Heup wins 9 this season with a bowl and goes 20-6 for the last two years. I’ll take that all day over what we have put up with the last 15 years. Next year we will need to see progression, not regression.

What is the deal w everyone saying “Nico may get injured?” TN plays better competition (UGA, FL, Bama, Oklahoma)and our O line won’t be better next season. Nico needs to gain 15/20 LBS but he could still use the work in a bowl game to gain confidence.
