Mississippi State defensively gives up the 3 ball, this is overly simple but I’ll say if we shoot 35%+ from 3 and have <12 turnovers we win the game.

I think the complaining is based off emotion usually, and the fact that this team has talent to play better. Plus we are starving for a winner in one of the big sports w the pounding we’ve taken in football.

But look around and one will see that every team has flaws. But each possession is so important during March Madness as many games come down to one possession

I didn’t see a lot of actual complaining in this thread tonight except for complaining about the officials. Game threads aren’t the place to go for level-headed responses any way lol. Even typically even-keeled people can make emotional comments in the heat of the moment….particularly when you might have enjoyed some adult spirits while watching the Big Orange.

Hopefully this aggressive offensive JJJ is who we get until he leaves. Finally looks like a 5 star on both sides of the court.

Santi is staying consistent and doing everything to help us win. ZZ is the swag and energy ya want. KC looks ready to make a deep tournament run.

Definitely want to see more of Aidoo, he has a natural “find the ball” the other bigs haven’t shown. Excited he’s just a freshman, maybe we’ll get 3 year outta him.

If we see Uros, Fulky, BHH, Powell, or Mashack start offering more on a regular basis this team will be hard to handle.

MSU certainly tried to take away the 3-ball, tonight, but as a result, they gave up the lane to drives and ZZ and Chandler are just too quick for MSU's bigger guards.

Watching DJ Jeffries, of all players, chase Zeigler around the court guarding him 1v1 was pretty funny.

He can be better than good, but he's really young

Yeah, I thought he was better at the first of the year. I think he has not gained any confidence yet. He will probably get it, over the Summer.

We’ll still have a very hard time against deep, big, athletic guard rotations. Auburn, KY, and Arkansas x2 is a tough run. Oddly I think we can do well in March due to the level of competition we face. We could do well with a decent draw.

The thing that Fulky brings even when he’s not scoring is being a coach on the court. We seems to play better with him out there, especially with the small ball lineup.

I think the NBA is going to give that kid a hard look. His build and skill set will translate well. Hope he stays, but I’m starting to worry that he’s gone.

Well the refs did absolutely suck tonight. That 3 ball attempt at the end of the first is inexcusable. Even if you want to say he wasn't shooting, then it is still a blocking foul. They only had 3 fouls called on them until like a 1:34 in the second half. Still found a way to win though.

Unless I am misunderstanding the COVID rule, he should have two left if he exercises his decision to use both. It would count against the 13 limit, but he should still get that extra season.
