How much of the play calling is due to the limitations of our QB?Honestly, Joe wasn’t great, but the play calling in certain situations is abysmal and didn’t help. Often doesn’t even give us a chance to keep the drive going. We have to start throwing to these RBs coming out of the backfield more. We almost never see it. No way they’re not capable of handling it.
Only a Dawg would know or mention something like this. Here boy!!!!I believe most or all of UGA D-line went to the Philadelphia Eagles. I did discover that is part of Kirby's sales pitch is that everyone on the O line, or D line will get a pair of custom made leg braces that go for $250,000 each. That's for all those linemen on the depth chart. It's HOW he keeps his lines healthy and he promises both the player and his parents/guardians that if they spend their career at UGA they're legs will be protected.
On top of that after every practice and game there is a team of people that will make adjustments and repairs to their braces and they work on those braces for as long as it takes. So UGA spends several million on the leg braces and then another few million maintaining them because it's not uncommon for the people making the adjustments to work until 2 or 3 AM after practices and games.
Think about that, they get custom braces that adjusted every time a player plays or practices. THAT's how Kirby recruits and maintains a pipeline of players year after year. It's not just "recruiting" UGA offers linemen a level of care other schools choose not to or can't afford to. If I were a player or a parent I'd find that highly attractive.
Probably quite a bit, for sure. I do think some plays aren’t being called that actually are in Joe’s wheelhouse. I keep waiting and they never show up. And, to be fair, maybe these are plays they have tried in practice and Joe just isn’t successful with them. How much of the play calling is due to the limitations of our QB?
I know many facts about the great teams in the SEC. I wish more people took their blinders off and explored more than their own team. It's illuminating. I don't limit it to NCAAF, I've studied businessmen, NFL QB, Edison, Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, Einstein, Tesla, Theodore Roosevelt, Newton, Bohr, Michelangelo, etc. ie people that discovered something or created an industry or lead it for a period of time (jack welch and GE)Only a Dawg would know or mention something like this. and you don’t think Tennessee gives them (the players) top of the line everything? Come onI believe most or all of UGA D-line went to the Philadelphia Eagles. What makes Kirby/Georgia great is the fact in the past two years, they’ve only played two ranked teams during the regular season.I know many facts about the great teams in the SEC. What sparked me on Kirby was, I grew up and still watch UGA, but what makes Kirby specifically great right now. If you think about it, when was the last time the SEC had a back to back Natty winner and STILL on a winning streak? I can't look away.
I'd like to think fans would be curious about what he's done, how he did it and how he did it so quickly.
I think the next football great will be someone that figures out how to take full advantage of NIL and the transfer portal. Kirby and UGA's reign may be brief. Maybe they win two and go away for a while or win 3 Natties.
WE got to see Tom Brady, same for Belichick. IDK, I like to read and really like reading biographies.

The answer is simple: A ton of talent already on the roster when he got there, soft schedules and $$$ for all the best recruits, specifically along the line of scrimmage. When Georgia plays teams with equal talent the result is…not great. 1-4 against Saban and frankly the Ohio State game should have been a loss.I know many facts about the great teams in the SEC. The officiating crew that worked hard at throwing that game should be fired. If we can’t officiate a game better than that, sports are toast. Same goes for basketball, baseball, and all sports. Phillies and Braves officiating was horrible.NO we didn't.
I just looked it up, today's game had 23 penalties. Let that sink in. No wonder the game didn't have any momentum to it.
