We played terrible for sure but if you don’t think officiating can swing momentum especially in a game like basketball you’re kidding yourself.

Well just makes Saturdays game a little more important. Ugly loss, team should be upset with themselves, but it’s in no way totally season altering. Get in the gym and come back Saturday better.

Naw. Auburn is ranked. We will play a normal high scoring game. We only struggle with teams we have no business losing too.

It wasn't even that bad. Yeah Fla got the typical home cooking but they gave us 6 points on the phantom Vescovi fouls on threes.

I don’t like your post but spot on. I don’t think this team will go beyond sweet 16, if that. I had hire for final four, alway do, but too many turnovers and too many runs for opposing teams. ON is our best big man but he’s inconsistent.

Idk WTH is going on w Vescovi and JJJ. I thought Key would provide solid minutes this yr while Phillips be the “man.” I love TN and will always support them but just being honest. I don’t think Barnes can get a team to the final four. He is better at developing 3 star players than 5 star. I don’t get it .

Until proven otherwise and these guys put it together on both ends of the court against good competition and some adversity, plan on an appearance, Round 1 or 2 exit.

Maybe that’s what we should be happy with, but I’m not. The pieces are there, but we can’t get over the hump, put on some clown shoes and trip over our own feet.

Our TO management tonight was laughably bad. Coming out TO and having Zakai shoot at the beginning of the clock. 0 attempt to attack the bucket at the end when the game was still in play.

It wasn't called fairly tonight... but I'm not sure we would've been too much closer if it was. Players didn't want to shoot the ball, and when they did they couldn't hit the side of a barn. It was a very odd effort from them. It's like they had a completely wrong game plan.

Football and baseball were both lined up for playoff championship games and so I'm not going to scream fahr Barnes.

Im not either, I’d rather be a frustratingly good team like we are than start over. I was talking as volunteers period but I’d dare to say basketball leads on that front.

We're a top 5 team, man. You aren't going to win them all, unfortunately. It's like you guys expect to win every single game or you're going to melt down in a fit of rage. I'm pissed about tonight too, but it happens to everybody. I think tonight was a bit of a letdown game after a home win over a top 10 team. We looked a bit gassed... a lot of short shots and sloppy defense.

Be careful, there’s a lot of church league refs that take accusations seriously in this thread. Don’t diminish the nobility of the profession!

I always enjoy the chicken little posts about a game in February. Bad game but it is only one.

I agree with your sentiments to a point but this is just a microcosm of what we will see in March. The good thing it hardens us and lessens the blow. I’ve been watching too long I know how the plot plays out. BUT
