Exactly. People pretend like we haven’t done this in most ncaa tournaments we’ve been in. It’s one thing to lose to a good team. We’ve lost to Loyola Chicago, Oregon state, and a meddling Michigan team. It’s not like this is a rare thing. You can almost see whats coming in march

March is always about matchups. ALWAYS. Sometimes you get a bad matchup, and sometimes you run into a cinderella. Sometimes you are cinderella. It is what it is. They were dying to put us in Greensboro as a 1 seed with an 8/9 seed North Carolina. Horrible matchup. Cuonzo took TN to a sweet 16 not because he was a good coach, but because of matchups that favored us and a bit of luck. Let's wait and see what March brings.

Pretty much everyone faded away tonight. Our shooters were passing up shots they normally take.

I' m offensive-minded pulling for a team that relies on defense. Shoulda kept going inside tonight to ON and JP instead of that ice-cold perimeter. CRB should run double laps to the players. He's getting paid to know and teach this. How many shots did ON take after scoring 7 of our 1st nine points? How many shots did JP take period? Straight-up BS and all on CRB.

When a team is on a 15-0 run the three best athletes on the team (JJJ, Olivier, and Phillips) must put their head down at some point in the possession and attack the rim to score or get fouled. It’s an absolute MUST. If shots aren’t falling you have to get to the line!

We literally had 20 more FG attempts and yet lose by double figures. How does that happen? Embarrassing and a significant lack of leadership on the floor. Zeigler turned the ball over too much early but he was the only one with a pulse. Vescovi and James ….don’t even know what to say as experienced seniors. Key, Plavsic seniors as well, offered nothing.

We utilized a short bench and our guys looked tired the entire game. Florida is an average basketball team. Clearly can’t handle success post the win against Texas. We are a good team and still have a lot in front of us but just hard to trust what we are going to get with this offense.

I agree we were hurting them inside and clearly were bigger and stronger. Plas and Aidoo both have terrible feet though. We should've punished this team.

3 of 4 losses is just us beating ourselves. Arizona is the one game where it was gonna be hard to win, and more than likely be a loss. The other 3 tho, just don’t show up and never wake up. That is why we are 18-4 and everyone is pessimistic about this team. Hard to trust a team when performances like this happen.

I think they rebounded good enough. Pretty sure they had 16-18 offensive boards BUT they only scored 10 PT’s off of those. Your usually gonna average a point for every offensive rebound you get.

Phillips doesn't get utilized near enough.. Most aggressive player but yet it's like we hold him back..... He has the most free throw attempts...

They are trying to utilize him, but they had to stop giving him the ball on the wing because he was getting offensive fouls driving the ball. They are trying to post him up now, so he is right at the basket.

I expect the Rocky Top Volunteers to outplay a not great Gators even though they do have a realistic chance of keeping the game close because it’s in Florida so they’ll have the benefit of a thundering crowd if the Gators play consistent great to keep the game close.

Shooting 27% and 20% from three won’t win many games. Yes we had nine more fouls against us but most weren’t egregious. We fouled too much inside as their big man got position against ON, Uros and Aidoo.

We’re all frustrated but hopefully TN bounces back Sat Vs Auburn. We better play better as we will get everyone’s best shot in the back stretch - Auburn twice, @ A&M, @ Vandy, Bama, Arkansas, @ KY. I
The schedule is def more difficult in Feb than Jan so we’ll see what this team is made of.

Have a good nt volnation! We’re still a top 6-7 team with a dub against Auburn. Barnes needs to figure some things out offensively. He will preach defense but droughts hurt us. A lot of basketball left.
