The most glaring thing to me was Castleton had 1. I saw at LEAST 3 on him that weren’t called. But we fart on him and the whistle blows…..

This i agree with... that one he got a no call on playing D as he wrapped his arms around our guy who ended up late guarding a made 3. Critical point in the game. He had another no call earlier. If Casey had 3 PFs with 10 mins left we probably win

I had no problem with the calls on us, but the no calls on them was home field advantage.

Regardless, you gotta put enough balls thru the hoop...

I guess the one positive that I can take from tonight is feeling this frustrated and disappointed over losses to Kentucky and Florida shows how far the program has come.

Nope, win the ones against the bad teams. Losing to TX isnt a big deal, getting shut down by UF, Colorado, and an average UK team is a huge red flag. But continue, im sure youll be backing those up who say we cant do better when Barnes gets bounced early again.

Texas responded a lot better vs a good team from the loss than Tennessee did with the win vs an average team.

that's coaching.........something UT needs. It's no a player development issue as much as it is being in game coaching and a lack of discipline in the shooters. I'd rather go inside and rely on my big men that trust these perimeter shooters. Grant Williams was money from 10-15'. JP and ON seem to be now. UT can't throw the ball in low without the opposition collapsing on the shooter and therefore the need for short-range jumpers which are ON and JP. Our FG% was the worst I've seen in a while and if coach can't fiqure it out it's on him.

Gators can have that last dunk...their program sucks. Their team isn't going anywhere. The lost only stings because their team is sooooo terrible

As soon as we get #2 ranked in the basketball polls, we then get blown out at Florida! I love our team, but they just can't handle that pressure. This team only wants to Jack Up 3's. We have to attack the the rim. There were times when we had the ball in the paint, but we would just dribble out or pass out & jack up a 3. That is what the Gators did to us, they attacked the rim, & got to the free throw line (18-24) We were 11-12 at the free throw line, but the Gators doubled that cause they attacked the rim, they scored in the paint. Our defense was just terrible in this game.

It's frustrating but as you say-- I'd rather be a top 2 team and mess it up, then be Florida -- get lucky and win and hope for a bubble.
