The Official #2 Tennessee @ Florida Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN2

I abhor losing to anyone at any time. What I hate most is probably how the predictable "we suck', "we are toast in March" posts come out. March is wide open. If you want to be whoa is me and doomsday over a team with 4 losses, then knock yourselves out. Please.
This is whining.

Unranked at South Carolina in football, unranked at UF in basketball. When UT went # 1 lost to I think unranked Vandy. Having said that UT won't lose the next game. Pick UT next game. It's the same pattern over and over and over again.

That’s cause it’s A) it’s a big/quality opponent, B) it’s at home. This team can play to their opponent, either direction, with the best of them.

It’s one game. Sucks losing to Florida, but we are still having a great season. Just have to find a way to not go ice cold like they did tonight come tournament time.

I like Barnes and I like these kids. That said, we know Barnes’ teams will lay three to four turds each year in the regular season to a lesser opponent. They’re fun to watch and at other times downright painful. They just go stone cold and you can almost tell when it’s coming. It happens. I think this team will probably make the Sweet 16, but I don’t see them putting it together enough for five to six games straight to win it all.

It wasn't called fairly tonight... but I'm not sure we would've been too much closer if it was. Players didn't want to shoot the ball, and when they did they couldn't hit the side of a barn. It was a very odd effort from them. It's like they had a completely wrong game plan.

That is the shame of it all when called like this. NOBODY knows how it would have turned out. We were up 6 at that point with several drives with contact at the goal an NO whistle. They made more plays than we did, but would they if called fairly? Flow is a part of the game.

Now we know why Barnes is always harping on consistency. I don't know how to make it happen, but wow. It looked like we put a team full of imposters on the floor tonight.

Really frustrating game. We have some great players but they lack that killer instinct. It’s like no one wants to step on someone else’s spotlight.

One thing is for certain is that Brandon Miller has the IQ of a melon for going to Alabama. He could have been the difference maker on this team and led us to a natty. We need a player like that.

Sucks last year we were so close to having Banchero who ended up choosing Duke over us and Miller went to Bama. So close. Add either of those guys to their respective teams and I think the. Natty is ours to lose.

Did CRB ever use a TO in the 17-2 run, or whatever it was that broke it open? I don’t remember one until after Santi’s FT’s or the ZZ bounce around 3. His stubbornness on refusing to cool runs/stop momentum/reset the game is maddening.

Once but the damage was done by the time he did. I think he let it get to 9-0 run with a pending free throw before he did. It's a theme with all these type losses.

Maddening or not it's clear Kellie and Rick breathe the same air. TO just isn't something they do. Right or wrong and yes I don't get it because no matter what analytics tell me TO should be called. Even if they were called UF was on a mission. Refs played a part but shooting less than 30% is why UT lost.
