This has been done before. I’m sure it would lead to a short term bump in interest, but the league is much better doing what they’ve done more recently and developing young talent from the Americas as opposed to being a retirement community for European has-beens to come get one last payday.Imagine if Ronaldo and Messi both came to MLS at the same time, definitely would put the league on the world stage.
I agree, but name a time you had two goats that have a cult following like Messi and Ronaldo playing at the same period in time. This has been done before. Been looking lately at season tickets for Inter Miami as the Messi rumors intensified. Just was looking again and seats are selling since today's report. The ones I wanted sold while I was comparing seats.
But neither is remotely close to their prime. It's like having Albert Pujols and Justin Verlander play for a year in the Japanese League and think it would really raise that league's standing. The baseball world would see that as a gimmicky-kind of thing for one final payday, which is exactly what it would be.I agree, but name a time you had two goats that have a cult following like Messi and Ronaldo playing at the same period in time.
I'm with you. What a BS situation. I hope we have them battered and in tears by halftime. I don't suppose their players have anything to do with it though. Tyler handled it with so much class.Just came here to say
