This is the least confident in the US squad I have been since probably ‘94. They have just been too uneven under Berhalter.

Just don’t lose to Iran again.

This team has loads of young talent. This team does not have the consistency it takes to use that talent game in and game out yet. It’s honestly a crap shoot of what to expect from this team so I’m not getting my hopes too high and will just enjoy watching and rooting for us in the WC again.

Chimay FTW.

I know the Belgians get a lot of crap from their European neighbors, but they make really good beer. Probably the best in the world as far as which country produces the best beer, IMO.

Can I interest anyone in sleeping in a shipping container for ~$200 a night? Beanbag chairs to sit on a fake lawn and watch on the giant screen, and a tiny pitch to kick a ball around are all included in the price of your stay.

The price is crazy. I actually think that would be pretty fun, but I'm freaked out that it might be too many people asses to elbows, everywhere. This idea is a cool fan experience, it's just not executed well.

Not to mention that high temps are still in the mid 80s to 90. It won't exactly be comfortable weather-wise either. I'm sure hanging out in a shipping container is nice and cool.

Obviously hope the US have a good showing. Also always had a soft spot for Holland because of the orange jerseys. Hoping England win the whole thing just because I have so many friends over there who would enjoy it.
I’m with you, hoping the US does well but have lowered my expectations. If they can get out of the group stage, that would be a huge win in my book.

Pretty much the same for me.

USA, then England (heritage), then Holland (orange), then the biggest underdog left

US first and foremost.

I live a stones throw from French Canada and spend a lot of time in Montreal, I am there almost as much as I am stateside on weekends. So Canada will be a second team for me.

Then after that, since I speak some French due to my time in Quebec I will keep up with the French team somewhat.

After that, I support chaos.

Reports are a nasty Camavinga tackle. Dude is quickly becoming known as a very dirty player.

Dang. I saw a tweet that it was a tackle by Camavinga but I didn’t hear anything about it being dirty. Also only read like 3 tweets about it. That’s so ****** if true.
