Always felt like theyâre one of the most underrated teams in this tournament. Byington really has turned them into a tough team. Feel like if Bama plays like they did today, they could slip up against either them or St. Maryâs Sunday.Vandy looks like they plan to stick around in this tournament for a while.
Exactly. Just like James Harden.Yeah, but Sears will sometimes literally run down and ram a guy like a bull in a China shop. Best case that happens for the defense is a no call.
He should have some of those called on him instead of just a no call on the defense.
Would cut back on him doing it as much.
They've been rewarding him for or it. It's like giving a whiny child candy for being a crybaby.
Last year?
This is the football money imbalance showing up. The ACC used to cheat at a level in basketball that others in the SEC didn't, they cheated for football instead and focused it there. Kentucky was the only SEC team willing to cheat on the level of UCLA/Carolina/Duke/NC State etc. Now the football money is rolling in, the gap is revenue is growing and paying is no longer cheating. It's gutted the ACC and will the Big 12 soon enough, the Big East too.I said it yesterday but itâs honestly unbelievable how awful the ACC has become. When I was a kid, that conference and the Big East represented college basketball.
Nowadays, most of the ACC isnât even fit to hold the Big East's jockstrap.
And yet they had three teams in the elite 8 (two played each other) and the same amount of final four teams as the SEC. The conference was absolute trash this year, but this revisionist history is hilarious. They only put 4 teams in the tournament last year and had 2 schools in the final rankings before the tournament.
They sucked last year too
