I’m starting to think that we might win this one. Scar is a much better team than Florida, and that is sickening. We had no excuse to lose to that bunch

The current players talk about how Tenn's history vs Fla is in the past, doesn't affect them, blah, blah, blah.

They have heard all about the bad losses and weird endings and it is in their heads, whether they were alive in the 90's or not, or the late 2000's.
They pretend it's not, but it is, just like Bama was late 80's, early 90's til the Vols laid down 7 straight and 10 of 13 on the Tide.

We need to do the same vs Florida. Heupel + Nico + improving defense should be a good start next season at Neyland.

Cooper Mays deserves a lot of credit for how the offense played today and it’s clear that we’ve really missed him this year.

If I’m being honest I’m a little pissed that Mincey and him missed Florida. I know he wasn’t able to go. Would’ve loved to see if that game changes with Coop and Mincey in.

Much like how Lincoln Riley almost lost to an inferior Colorado team, Heupel has fallen into the same trap of "good offense, bad defense". And when the offense doesn't produce, well...you lose by 13 to a crappy UF team.

TXAM, UConn, UGA, VAndy. I give us UConn and Vandy. If we go 1-1 vs TXAM and UGA, that's a plus. 2-2 is very possible.

I think the team is definitely improving. We do not need Milton to be Hooker. Just need him to be efficient throwing the football and keep the offense ahead of the sticks and hit a few deep shots every game. We get that and we can turn this season around in a hurry.
