Funny story about mags not fitting...
When E-Lander mags first came out back during the Great Magazine and Ammo Crisis of 2012, everyone was thrilled to see magazines regardless of the finish. They are steel AR mags, reasonably well put together with Magpul ripoff followers in them. Anyway, people snatched them up as soon as they came in and started getting the same complaints they weren't fitting easily into the mag well of their ARs. Basically, you had to slam it in for the catch to work.
Company rep over on Arfcom was all kinds of proud until he started getting those complaints. His answer was "well, you aren't using a Mil-Spec rifle like we tested ours on, blah, blah, blah."
So, several people actually showed him on issue M4s and M16s where the damn things were not working. His answer? "Just Dremel a bit off of that catch if your rifle isn't in spec."
Bruh, they are MILITARY ISSUE WEAPONS!
Eventually, they fixed the problem with the later Gens and offered a one for one swap with the old ones. Again, solid mags you could run over with a tank, but if they aren't fitting...
