The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

@kiddiedoc you'd probably have the place to yourself. Seldom used. We sort of lease it to some people that basically keep it mowed for that right but other than the occasional carry permit class it's wide open. Just some friends and family. I hardly use it because I shoot at my house. Occasionally I'll shoot some clays over there.

If you're interested, freak has my email. Just shoot me an email and we'll set it up.

Broadacres here.

Broadacres. Old Weigel farm land. Then y'all sophisticates moved in...

We might know one another. I was a Powell Middle "plankowner" as a 7th grader. Mr. Ballard's class. He was wicked with a paddle, I can attest to that fact. 46 years later, I still remember getting my butt lifted off the floor by his "forehand" swing.....

Do
Because it’s cool and fun to shoot.
Ha! That was my "pro" reasoning. I can't think of a single practical use where it would be superior to anything I already have.

What would you consider a fair price for a mid-90s model in good condition? $500-ish?

I think I paid 460$ about a year ago for mine.

Do any of you guys have a Dunham’s (sporting goods) around?

In my area they had ammo shipments in.

9mm HP’s (25 round) as low as $15.99 (Sig Sauer)

.22lr (50 round) Aquila $3.99

12g 00buck (10 round - Hornady critical defense) $12.99

And a ton more.

Got a couple new .22’s the other day. A Ruger SP101 and a High Standard Sentinel snub nose. I had a custom Kydex holster made for the Sentinel......pretty sweet condition for a gun 50+ years old.6E72C0BE-A059-4674-A6E1-89E0DA70C0D0.jpeg

Anywhere seem to have the best luck?
There are a couple of pawn shops I go to that seem to have more amo than everyone else. North Ga reloader can be pricey but they usually have what you need.
Everyone else goes big box store but I never have much luck in those places

I went to Dunham’s in Athens today. Didn’t have crap.

Dang that sucks.

I walked out the other day with 2 boxes of .270, about 1k rounds of .22, 3 boxes of 9mm (3 box limit on 9mm), about 12 boxes of 12g (various), a few hundred rounds of .22 WMR, and some 5.56........all at normal pre pandemic prices.

I suspect some people are going from store to store, buying up everything then selling for $$$.

People can keep checking CCI & Federal Premium (online) their “in stock” changes pretty much every week. When it’s in stock the prices are fairly good......but make sure your buying $100.....if not you have to pay $12 shipping.

Anyone know about magazine issues with DDM4's? (V7 LW 5.56) Bought mine used and it came with three magpul 30 rd mags. Noticed they didn't always seat on the first try. Today I had more trouble than usual, and one had to be forced out after it ran empty. I'm guessing I need to invest in some new mags, but would like to find some that I know will work.
