The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Today I inherited my grandfathers Remington Nylon 66. MFG 1960. I remember shooting it when I was just a kid. Any of yall have one?

Sorry for your loss.
Family guns are always my favorites.
And that’s a classic. I’m glad it didn’t get away.
Me too. He actually passed away 8 years ago but Dad has all the guns. This is the 1st one he has let me keep. I get all the others one of these days.

So potentially very cool stuff.
Looking forward to hearing about them as you get them
Yep. There is also a really small .22 pistol he has too. Honestly I'm not a huge gun guy but I like reading up on them and researching them because of the family connections. Can't really do that until they are in my hands though lol.

Once you get started don’t be surprised if the bug bites you. Shooting is oddly relaxing and a lot of fun. Especially when you’re shooting family history

Don't own that one, but it's a special piece to be sure. The oldest weapon I own is an Essex 410. It was my father's first squirrel gun and it was mine as well. I'd rather give up an arm than this gun.

Essex 410

The next oldest is a side by side King Nitro 12GA which I also treasure.
