The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

I've held the PPQ and the smith (and plenty of others, I'm not new to this), for whatever reason the 19 just fits my hand. I'm not buying it as my only pistol, just another one to add to the pile.

I might try the new Sig 320 Carry as well. You will be amazed at the trigger.

Biggest thing about Go-locks these days is what you get out of the box. The VP9, 320, PPQ and even the FNS have far superior triggers to the Glocks and M&P line out of the box.

I'll check it out. I should probably be more picky about triggers, but as it is, I'm probably the least picky person out there. I can learn to love almost anything. The only gun I've ever just out and out hated was a Sig P250 .45 It was weird, buddy I sold it to still has it and still loves it. Just wasn't for me.

Speaking of triggers, I'll probably end up buying an LC9-S for the wife. She's finally comfortable with automatics so we've started looking. They've done an amazing job changing the LC9.

I have a P250 .45 as well. It has one of the longest trigger pulls I've ever seen. Got. It for $300 tho, so I guess it evens out.

I might've been able to put up with it at 300. I was implusive and bought one pretty soon after they came out. Got lucky and only had to eat about 30 bucks on it.

One of the biggest marketing fails Sig has ever done.

Although Remington with the R51 is giving them a run for the money for all time.

Funny you mention that. I just read where Remington is going to re-release it. Anybody that bought an early one can exchange it for a new one with 2 extra mags and a Pelican case.

Yeah, a buddy needed cash and sold it to me for $300. I told him once he got his finances straightened out if sell it back to him for the same price. Kind if wish he'd buy it back so I could put the money towards something I like better.

Is your hand made of Lego's? :)

The PPQ and the HK P30 are ergo wonders

My RIA has a 3.5" so I'm not sure whether it would be an officer or a commander model, but I haven't noticed any difference in recoil between it and my standard 1911.

the recoil isn't bad...it's a 45 so you still know it

And depends on the type of recoil system you have installed. The Springfield system isn't bad, but is a royal pain to install after cleaning.

Prefer the Kimber setup personally.

Say what you will. No, it's not a super tactical benelli M4. This handles every problem large and small around DTH's house. The Remington 870 is the pinnacle of home defense. You could do much worse, some have...

I'll take my BCM with 30 rounds of Winchester RA556B personally.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to use the largest stick possible, would I like to use my LRB M14? Of course, but I realize what's on the other side of walls. One of the worst shootings I ever heard of was with a chap hit with #7 shot. Gruesome.

Try the Hornady TAP LE 155 grain. SGAmmo tries to keep it in stock.
