I remember back about 10 years ago people were talking about how expensive the Python's were at $800-1000. Boy, wouldn't you have liked to have bought a few of them?

Got that right.

Seems like a magazine issue. First time out to the range it ran fine. But last two times I'll fire a couple rounds and it just won't feed the next one. Happens a few times in a 7 round magazine, so pretty egregious. It feels like the magazine is loose and doesn't sit high enough for the next round To be fed.

Have you tried different ammo?

Found this in a pawn shop today...put it in layaway. 1956 with original case and papers.

EDIT: After further research and a misinformed pawn shop, the gun is actually a 1939. Score.

After doing a little research, the serial # says it's actually from 1939...I'll have to do more research before I'm 100%.

Not a bad price. I'd get it out of layaway ASAP though.

WWII Walther PPKs For Sale: Nazi Walther PPKs | Legacy Collectibles

Ha yea I might have found gold. The guy told me it was a 1956. I didn't really care if he were right or wrong, because I could tell it was old and it was in great condition. My questions started here...

I Google searched for a 1956 Walther Ppk .32. I found that after 1952, they were made in France by Manurhin. The books and box were all marked with Manurhin. Mine doesn't have any of that. It's also stamped Made in West Germany. My serial # of 187045 points to 1939, making it a WWII gun. Fingers crossed. I'll know more when I get it out.
