I’m 50, been a fan since I was in diapers. If being a fan makes you this miserable and negative and rules your emotions you should find a new hobby. My life does not revolve around what 18-21 year old kids do on the field. If your going to take being a fan so serious your going to have a lot of ups and downs. So tired of this attitude. Rick Barnes DID get outcoached by Juwan Howard. I love coach Rick Barnes. Where I have an issue is how Rick mismanaged the bigs rotation. I think Uros was decent and let's face it Fulky had a bad game. Why did Rick pull BHH? Where was Aidoo in the second half? That is my biggest gripe. I love coach Barnes. I do feel like he has this program on solid footing. Cheeze. This loss is so hard to swallow.

I don’t think BHH was the answer tonight. Maybe Aidoo for a few minutes. But Uros probably had one of his best games of the year, so that neutralizes it a bit.

I’m loyal to Barnes because the way he is coached

#1 talent will come his way seeing how he can coach guys up like Chandler. That will attract more talent

#2. He’s great for our kids. He’s not into himself like Cal. It’s very genuine

#3. Anyone thinking we need someone else doesn’t understand the risk of a new coach and not like we can go pick off someone from a team that’s in the final 4 this year.

#4. He does have this program on solid footing and when day comes he wants to hang it up we will be a top 10 destination place for good candidates.

Calls like Santiago’s third foul weren’t a result of him not playing smart. It was simply a bad call.

It was for sure. There will be bad calls. We should have not been in a position with a middle of the road BiG team where it would make a difference.

I agree. If we had not gone cold offensively, it wouldn’t have mattered. I’m just saying that the officiating wasn’t consistent - we shouldn’t have let it matter.

Sometimes yes sometimes no. I don't just blame the coach every time there is a loss. Likewise I don't automatically praise the coach just because a win. There's been some games Cal has been terrible but we win in spite of him.

Hey what I saw of BHH looked pretty good. Uros had a decent game. It looked like Barnes was just going to stick with Uros and Fulky. Sometimes you have got to adjust properly. You left talent on the bench tonight.

This, 2-18 is just pitiful.

Barnes is an excellent regular season coach but below average in the tournament. It is what it is. This is 3x now with Barnes we’ve had a favorable bracket to the sweet 16 or more and we go out in the 1st or 2nd round.

I hear them but it is like a very irritating voice of someone talking out the butt that does not know what they are talking about .

The part that really sucks to me is it still felt like this team was different. We played pretty badly the first half and yet were still up 5. We played about the same for 12 minutes in the second half and we were up 6 with a chance to push it to 8-9. Last year against Oregon St. we played badly and were never in the game. This year we played badly and were on the verge of pushing to a double digit lead with about 7:00 to play. THAT is why this team felt different, like we were able to overcome bad to meh play.

And we just fell apart. Just like that.
