Tennessee seems to lose in these situations pretty regularly. Whether other teams do it or not doesn't change that.

This is a game you only lose becuase you played a team on their senior night.

I counted 6 possessions in a row where we didn't score and they scored on 4 in a row during that same time. Had a chance to bury them and Vols got punked by one dude.

Tough game to win on the road against a physical, quality team on their Senior Night. Officiating was terrible. It’s too bad some posters on here turn against our players and coaches when the going gets tough. For the sake of your mental health, find a team that you like and want to support.

If other teams do it then how is it a Tennessee thing? This team is 24-6. Losing close games isn’t a “Tennessee thing”.

Our players and team are in trouble if we need games like this late in the season. Igor missed the shot but drained a three ball and one. But, he is MIA too often and hasn’t given us the play we all anticipated.

Still, had a #1 seed on the line and didn’t get it done and now that’s gone.

I don’t know if I’d call it a choke but we had leads that we didn’t extend and then went back into our usual offensive drought

I can’t understand why you don’t encourage Shack to take the one on one rather than calling timeout and hoping Ole Miss struggles more with half court defense than transition defense.

That’s only partially Igor’s fault. Mashack could have had the same shot with more time on the clock.

He had no problem knocking down the shot and the free throw that gave us a chance.

So then he has been your go to guy these last few games? We must be watching different games. Several games he hasn’t even played the last several minutes of the game because he has disappeared or been strangely in foul trouble.

He isn’t the guy you want going to the rim when it’s do or die.

Yeah he made the three ball and the free toss - good for him. Announcers said he has been sick the last cpl days.

So again - he ain’t the guy you want taking that shot. He has been denied at the rim with no foul calls more times than not.

We all knew with a 1 seed on the line we’d lay a typical Barnes in March egg. We played horrible defense against a very average ole miss team. We deserve the loss. They had every chance to start running away with it and let ole miss take it to the rim barely guarded 3 possessions in a row. Instead of going up double digits we had a 2 point game. No time outs to stop the bleeding per usual.

Ik Cade wasn’t having his best game but the fact we didn’t try him on Brakefeild is coaching malpractice imo
