That's like saying if you took Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw off the Dodgers they're just an above average team.

I mean, it's college baseball so you really only have a 3-man rotation (Fri, Sat, Sun) so if 2 of your rotation members are the #1 and #2 picks in next year's draft that's insane. You can't just subtract them and say, "Well, without them they're just very good."

He calls a great baseball game and he knows the coaches and players in a way that Kesling can’t. Kesling is fine but it sounds like he’s reading a stat sheet and prepared notes and lofting lobs to Ensor, it’s fine, but I’d love to hear Wilkerson and Ensor do a game.

I have always listened to baseball games on the radio going back to 3rd grade when I sneaked a transistor radio into school to listen to Gibson vs. McLain in the '68 series. Mike Keith was great too back in the 90's... nothing fires me up more than JW's trademark "Hello Win Column" lol.

Well, there’s something to be said for that for sure. For a long time the radio was it for baseball, there are times when I miss listening to the games on my Kaito, but I don’t miss trying to surf the web to find a stream, unfortunately about half the team is California bound for summer ball, I might take this summer off.
