Your insinuation UGA’s student section is better/louder is ludicrous. You can compare this year, last year, or the last decade.

I’m comparing what they have this year, specifically what we saw today is better than anything we’ve ever had as far as student section goes. I’ve been to the Steg many times. They didn’t always have that student setup.

Nice run by the Vols during the last 5-6 min of game.

I’ve been pleading for them to go inside more with dribble drive- Knecht and ZZ, especially.

Mashack has improved offensively but needs ti improve basketball IQ, less fouling. He and Santi both foul too often chasing down a rebound or in the back court away from the rim.

JJJ and Santi- offensively, Idk what to say. I’m sure they provide leadership and play D, but @ some point the team needs more from them. Knecht can’t be expected to score 20 plus a night as elite teams will double team or Knech will have a bad night.

Good win, very happy. A win is always much better than a loss.

Santi was 40% from FG & deep. That’s all we need. With DK, ZZ, & Aidoo getting so much attempts don’t think we’ll see Santi take 10 or more shots much this year.

He HAS to stop fouling though, best perimeter defender besides ZZ when he’s on the bench teams drive by Gainey & Freddie constantly.

Zieglar turned the ball over too many times today but his defense down the stretch was suffocating and game changing. We don't complete that comeback without him.

I disagree on ZZZ’s defense. Thought he lost his man or ran under a pick to allow open 3’s. He’s about as good as any SEC guard when manned up, but there’s a lot more to playing team defense.

He clearly had one of his worst games ever with turnovers. Also, I thought he was trying way too much offensively taking several quick 3’s when we needed to be hammering the lane. He’s played much much better recently than today. JMO, TIFWIW, AARP

Great win! Do you really expect (during a stretch where the lead went from double digits to trailing) that in game posts are going to be compliments and affirmations? If that’s how you deal, fantastic Mr. Sunshine. Some of us vent frustrations on here. If that’s not wanted then maybe we need a positive game thread only and an anything goes game thread.

Easy, Tiger! I get it. One of the reasons I never follow the game thread, regardless of how they are playing. That's a point about any game in basketball. I can sympathize if you don't get it

As disappointing as JJJ’s offense has been this week, I don’t think we can go totally 4 guards and 1 post. JJJ is the only one stout enough to match up with forwards. JMO

I really like JJJ. I know he has given his all for UT; but he just disappears too often
and can’t be trusted. He can play multi-positions, but none of them that well. Barns
should know by now where and when to utilize him.

Obviously there were too many terrible turnovers the first 30 min of the game. He locked down on both ends for the last 10. Got to the line at critical moments down the stretch. Stopping the clock within the game was critical in the last 3.

This game is over and this team has some soul searching to do

Really, I was prepared for a loss mid 2nd half but I did not sell them out in a display of lack of character. Barnes got the message across to the refs. They gave GA nearly unlimited contact, but they quit calling wimpy contact on our end. Greatly changed the momentum they could build without them. Losing miracle level 3 point percentages helped too.

We have way more fans than players that have SERIOUS soul searching to do. They are facing other athletes and dealing with officials, while fans are up against air and all wounds are self inflicted. There are no BVS exceptions.

VFLs or LVFs are what is in play. VOL FOR LIFE or LOUSY VOL FAN (replaces LOMs) You are what your record says you are.

Kicking our players when they are down does not earn positive points. You can acknowledge bad play with out cheap shots. No one is calling for a blind eye.

I've noticed DK is really good at being aware of the active camera for a guy not in media...oh and he's ok at basketball too.

Don’t think anybody would argue that but, and logic should dictate you being to Steg and TBA that you’d agree, but if you’ve been in both environments TBA(even with the student section where it is) is a far superior atmosphere. Heck, a screenshot showing the size of Stegs lower level should make that obvious.
