Nice run by the Vols during the last 5-6 min of game.

I’ve been pleading for them to go inside more with dribble drive- Knecht and ZZ, especially.

Mashack has improved offensively but needs ti improve basketball IQ, less fouling. He and Santi both foul too often chasing down a rebound or in the back court away from the rim.

JJJ and Santi- offensively, Idk what to say. I’m sure they provide leadership and play D, but @ some point the team needs more from them. Knecht can’t be expected to score 20 plus a night as elite teams will double team or Knech will have a bad night.

Good win, very happy. A win is always much better than a loss.

If that’s how you deal, fantastic Mr. Sunshine. Some of us vent frustrations on here. If that’s not wanted then maybe we need a positive game thread only and an anything goes game thread.

One observation: I know a lot of people look at Santi right now and think he’s a shell of his former self since he isn’t scoring like we are accustomed to seeing him score. Some have even lumped him in JJJ these last couple of games calling him a no show. To me, though, Santi is still making winning plays. He may not be scoring, but he is contributing in a positive way.

And all fans should appreciate that when he’s not feeling good with his outside shot, he doesn’t shoot a bunch of them. He’s driving the lane, feeding his teammates, rebounding, and playing tough defense.

Tennessee got aggressive going to the hoop in the final 5 minutes and were able to even up the free throw attempts with GA at 23. They gotta be more aggressive consistently going forward.

3 minutes in I told Barnes the zebras are rewarding those who drive the lane - for some reason he didn’t hear me till the 45th time I yelled it!
