This is a Q1 game, in the long run not going to be a bad loss if we don't comeback. College basketball is just tough to win on the road. Sucks to see so many veteran players have no shooting ability. So the offense was bomb for 3 or hope to force it down low and so far it's been constant turnovers. Why not run some plays? At least Miss State seems to go on long droughts on offense, so the win can still happen.

We kinda don’t have a choice with Aidoo, awaka isn’t doing any better on defense need both to be more physical simple as that

I like what I’ve seen from Awaka a lot more than Aidoo, but that’s not saying much. Whoever is out there has to play tougher and meaner when matched up on Tolu.

I am talking about a team of shooters and not having 1 player to carry the team. Its been awhile since we have had 2-4 shooters at the same time. Tn can get back in this game if they will stop depending on the 3 ball. They missed what 6 or 7 in a row.

Knecht has also struggled because the guard play around him hasn’t been fantastic or consistent enough to make teams not be able to help down on him

They happen every game with this team. Even at home against OM we miss 12 3's in a row

Its part of shooting alot of 3s. Our guys are 30%+ shooters. So its bound to even up. Just more noticeable when they all brick on the front end. Also noticeable becuase MSST has good inside defense.

The key to this was missing 6 wide open threes early and not getting a rebound. Just turned it over and didn’t allow defense to get set. Also getting nothing out of the bench to allow Barnes to rest anyone lol

Yep, team is playing out of character, even Aidoo, JJJ & then Zigler miss front end of a 1& 1. We need to see a couple of 3s go down to start the 2nd half. We are getting good looks just not connecting 3 or 4 rimmed out so think if we get off to good start be a different game going forward.

So here we go blaming officials again instead of the poor shooting, ten first half turnovers, and poor interior defense which led to at least four dunks.

Officials make mistakes and a call or non call can change the complex of a game, but TN is playing like trash. Duke fans blamed the refs for the loss against TN and we all told them to stop crying.

It’s time for this team to wake up and play.

UT is not playing well, agreed, but the officials sure aren’t calling it well either. Miss St walked at least 3 times that weren’t called and there have been UFC fights with less contact than some of these no calls we’ve seen. We can’t control the refs though, just our play. We either play better or we will lose, possibly by a lot.

I did see just now he does have two fouls so that has something to do with it.

They have to get some outside points out of him or Knecht to have a shot though. Not just in this game but about any game.

I've seen little to no ability from this team to generate offense if they aren't hitting from the outside.

Vescovi with 2 fouls but I don't see the difference in sitting because of them or fouling out in this situation. They're getting run out of there.

Barnes going the old school route though and thinking he can get something in the second half.

I'd almost bet he picks up foul 3 a couple minutes into the second half and turns into a complete nonfactor this game.
