Honestly, going over the box score UT should be down by 20 plus. Make some early 3's and the team can be right back in it. JJJ Vescovi and Knect are seniors that need to lead and make things happen.

So the offense was bomb for 3 or hope to force it down low and so far it's been constant turnovers. Why not run some plays? At least Miss State seems to go on long droughts on offense, so the win can still happen.

Our offense is what drives me crazy. I sound negative but don’t mean to me as I love the Vols. But we appear to have a lot of talent but can’t shoot worth a dam$.

I love Barnes but wish he would hire an asst coach to help with offensive sets. I’m not a college coach but his offense seems elementary with perimeter passing w the focus of inside/ out game. Aidoo isn’t strong enough to play against the bigger post players, imo. So running a few offensive sets with dribble penetration should help end droughts.

I think we are gonna come back out and play better in the second half but the hole may be too deep.

Miss St walked at least 3 times that weren’t called and there have been UFC fights with less contact than some of these no calls we’ve seen. We can’t control the refs though, just our play. We either play better or we will lose, possibly by a lot.

Agree. TN players recently said they hope refs don’t call a tight game as it hurts their physicality. Well, they got their wish.

Problem is we flow better and shoot better going inside out. We’ve done none of that this game.

Out only hope here is to change up the game plan and hope our percentages come back toward the mean.

Don’t worry about being “negative”. It’s your observation. Heck this team played negative in first half
