I never understand this. How can you NOT want to win more? It’s your home court. You’re the one fighting for the SEC championship. Makes no sense. It’s now happened twice this year. Colorado and Kentucky. Both times we admitted we didn’t want it as badly. Both times we lost.
I’m not even sure how you fix that.
Chandler would’ve had 20 today easilyI saw a thread on The General’s Quarters a week ago talking about how Zeiglar is a better player than Kennedy Chandler. Well…. Chandler would never have missed 3 wide open layups last year. Kennedy will go down as the most underappreciated player in Tennessee history and I stand by that. Today, if we had Kennedy, we easily win this game.
Thats not what im saying. ZZ, SV, JJJ theyre shooters, they arent finishers. Phillips or Key are slashers that get to the rim, put the ball in their hands late tell them get to the middle of the pain and either finish or kick. SV should be standing behind the 3 pt line not the one driving its not his game.

I’d like to see the plus minus. Wouldn’t be surprised if we were better with Key at point thanZZ today. This was a game where our lack of PG depth finally reared its ugly head. Anytime ZZ was on the bench with foul trouble we struggled. And when ZZ was on the court he was missing layups and had some inexcusable turnovers. We missed Kennedy in this game probably worse than any game this season.
