It’s a rick fight and boring to watch. But it favors us.

Something tells me the game is called differently during 2nd half. I don’t buy into condo theories usually but the network doesn’t want a top 5 matchup sitting at a 20-22 game at the half.

What is concerning is the lack of ball handlers and scorers on the TN roster. Chaz is a no show vs. physical play and Igor is rattled once again. He admitted that the crowd @ Memorial gym go to him though half the gym was decked in Orange.

Also, Why not attack Broom? He is playing on one leg. Take it inside, make Broom move laterally and exude some energy. I’m disappointed in Barnes game plan so far.

Exactly. Gotta be smarter. We should be winning this game. If they are taking a desperation shot with 1 second left on the shot clock just let em have it. If they hit it then good for them, but those are very low percentage shots. Can’t foul.

2nd half, I would spread the court, clear the lane and let Zeigler make decisions 1x1. Let him drive and kick when Auburn collapses or shoot that midrange. Or spread and let Okpara/Phillips and Zeigler play pick and roll. Again let Zeigler make the decisions. Over and over again. Everyone else is afraid on offense. It's embarrassing. They can cut to the rim when Zeigler penetrates, try to rebound and maybe we can pick up some fouls against Auburn.

To be fair, the “disappointed in Tennessee” comment was in regards to how we are not attacking Broome, who is clearly hurt and slowed down by the injury. We haven’t done anything in that regard and it is infuriating.

I won't argue that with respect to what they were saying, but to come into the #1 team in the nation's house, the highest scoring offensive team in the country, and choke their offense down to 22 points? That ought to be the talking point, if you ask me. Working their asses off out there.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do love getting snarky about ESPN and their hot takes.

He can take any defender off the dribble and hit the floater. Or, kick it out when someone switches. So I would do it every time and then dump it down low if Auburn lost player collapses.

It's undeniable what he's done for the program, wins a lot of games, etc. But, I don't know if you can ever achieve the ultimate goal playing this kind of basketball.

Not in today's game. Still have to have solid defense. But if you can't score you're not winning any titles for sure. Like you said, he's gonna win a lot of games, but not when it matters most. You gotta have offense in March.
