No real pick and rolls/pick and pops, no isolation ball....all we have is ZZ being able to dribble in amongst the bigs but then not having much if he can't get right to the hoop.
Our offense is anemic. Chaz couldn't drive the ball past my momma

College basketball is a game of runs. If I had to guess, Auburn goes on a run to open a lead then we go on a small one at some point to cut it back. Runs are inevitable.

Yeah, being ranked #6 and down only 2 to the no. 1 ranked team on the road at half is unacceptable.🤭 We certainly have deficiencies, and we unfortunately have a short roster. We can win this game. That's what matters at the start of the 2nd half

Seems to me we could have gotten 6 points at least off of attacking Broome. Then it becomes a question of Bruce will pull him or will ride the ego and risk further injury.

No problem with making this a rock fight and agree that's absolutely what we should do. But we're doing some truly basic things at an elementary level right now and it's costing us. And that's not discounting the fact that Auburn is obviously really good on that end but our offense is just inept right now

Get the dub and all is well. I despise Bilas. I didn’t like him watching his dirty antics as a Duke player, and I don’t care for him as an analyst. And I don’t care about his intelligence or his law degree. Back in the day, the network touted the fact Bilas had his law degree. I despise him as a player and commentator.

What is concerning is the lack of ball handlers and scorers on the TN roster. Chaz is a no show vs. physical play and Igor is rattled once again. He admitted that the crowd @ Memorial gym go to him though half the gym was decked in Orange.

Also, Why not attack Broom? He is playing on one leg. Take it inside, make Broom move laterally and exude some energy. I’m disappointed in Barnes game plan so far.

Agree on game plan vs Broome. Go at the guy. He'll get some favorable calls but just need a couple of fouls on him and game changes drastically

Think that mid range shot will be open some as well, zz needs to pull up and hit it until they start respecting it on that middle screen.

In the past four years (2021-25), Tennessee's 24 AP top-25 wins are tied, alongside Iowa State (24) and Kansas (24), for the MOST in the nation. Some of us don’t seem to want to believe we have a great coach and a great team again this year. Sad really.

Personally I’m enjoying this team, win or lose

I can’t help but laugh when Bilas talks about physical play and rock fights. He was one of the dirtiest players when he played for Duke.

Yeah. Pearl was no different. He couldn't win in March either, at least when he was here. He's done better at AU. He's got a chance to win it all this year.

I usually dont clown on Barnes, he has been the best coach we've ever had. But facts are facts.
