We cannot keep losing bad to Bama and Fla and say we were the better team. If we were better, then we wouldn't have lost by 26 to them. There are some weaknesses that are getting exploited. We all admit to needing a true PG and a true dominating big man at C. We don't even have 2 dominating big long reach Fs. Springer was out and that hurt some but still. I'm not at all down on the team, but we need to stop over-hyping these guys. They don't match the strength and leadership of that Grant/Schofield/Bone team of 2 years ago.

Barnes was 5-1 against UF before tonight. Johnson and Springer are legit NBA prospects, but both will struggle some nights.

I said we were in no way elite, and now we are regressing and looking marginal... this inconsistent play reminds me of our team several years ago. We've played too many games for excuses, we are just not playing with confidence and swagger. We looked like we didn't even want to be there tonight. Barnes doesn't get a pass on this one, he didn't show up. I sure hope he/they figure this crap out and get back on track or it's about to be a long disappointing season.

At least he didn't have a stat line like this:

1-12 from the field (0-6 from 3 point range), 2-6 FT's, 2 REBOUNDS, 1 ASSIST, 5 TURNOVERS and 4 POINTS.

Nope... that was Victor Bailey. And that is one sorry looking line. He had more turnovers (5), than he did made baskets (1), rebounds (2), and assists (1) combined (4)... while also being just 2-6 from the free throw line. You don't see that every game from a guard. What a horror show.

Buncha overreaction in here imo. There are still a lot of games left to be played. It really is too early to tell if this team is great or average. We do have apparent weaknesses but I’m hoping the coaches can find ways to play to our strengths.

Melodramatic. A dreadful performance... but they are 10-2 and they were without Springer. Come on.

This team can beat anybody in the country on a given night... This defense can befuddle anyone... But it also can lose to anyone... All you need is the other team to get hot shooting... put a fork in us... we'll never match them scoring.

Yet, This is the first time we were out hustled and lost. And that sucks. We lost this game on the boards and the ball. We also don't have a player who can bail us out this year, like Fulky was a bit last year. Someone who gives you 20 pts, and just wills you to win.

If this team is gonna live by defense and bricks, we better get to hammering! I wanna see guys start fouling out, especially in games like this! When a team gets hot we need to bring in the avalanche! And cool them off. This team is finesse defense, it needs to get some attitude. It needs to get some MEAN

Yeah but I'm not comparing coaches or talking previous years. I'm talking this year's team, tonight, and fans that say we have the better team after getting whipped all over the court. Give the opponents credit where it's due. Same with the Alabama loss at home. We will be better when we beat them, not until then. I'm not dissing Barnes or the team. They don't try to lose.

Also 2018 team had 2 seniors, 4 juniors, 1 RS so, 1 so

5 guys averaged double digit PPG & 6 averaged 20+ minutes. That team was seasoned & had their identity well established.

This team is probably a year away from being on the same level from a performance standpoint, but has the talent to potentially be better. But I’m not sure if it’ll happen this year and who knows who returns next season.

That team also had better players on the end of the bench.

We really missed Springer tonight. Seems to be the heart beat of this team and we are a completely different team without him on the floor.

He’s our best. Offensive threat because he‘s our only player that can create his own shot. Not sure we could have won with even him playing tonight, we just didn’t have the energy to win tonight for some reason. Hope Fulky and someone else steps up and becomes a leader
