He was part of the reason we were even in that situation with some of his 3s. Hes a good player and this loss isn’t his fault. We decided to wake up too late.

Also a big reason we were in the postion we were in all game up until the false hope part of it.

They aren't getting paid to make free throws, which would be the key difference.

That stretch where ZZ and Okpara were on the bench in foul trouble absolutely killed Tennessee. That huge flurry out of the half was enough to clinch it for Vandy. Long stretches of subpar defense is what did it. The tactically deployed homecooking was backbreaking as well.

Vandy played like a bunch of punks and the court rush was absolutely embarrassing.

Vandy deserved it and executed their game plan perfectly. Bad loss and a road game we needed. Hope we learn from it. Can’t just be a perimeter shooting half court offense. Need more easy buckets and please stop fouling 3 point jump shooters.
