You have posted 6 times in 6 years. Need more credibility to criticize a HOF coach than that. Everyone has an opinion. All of us on here have an opinion. We all have an @zzhole too. Use caution which one is typing. Barnes has earned the right to say whatever he desires.

Being overrated and ranked where you are is two different things. We are overrated. Lots of other teams in the SEC have more transfers and guys not playing in the SEC a full year, one just beat us. I don't blame Tennessee for being overrated, injuries and guys not being good enough from the portal does that. It is what it is.

I agree based on where we are. I think this team has the potential to win a Natty but have to improve. To me that means Shack has to provide something on offense (6-10 pts a game), a little more consistency from Gaines, and a small step forward from Milicik and others. We have seen all of thsee guys do this many times just need more consistency. Of course, we need to stay healthy. Go Vols.

Said it once and said it again...road games require a whole new level of focus, attention to detail, making free throws, and more. We have lost road games because we are not mentally ready and prepared for them. Gotta change that. Road games are war and you better be jacked up or you lose.

Don't disagree. This team has flaws and while many others do as well, I don't think we have that special player to offset our deficiencies. I think the Vandy game clearly showed that fatigue will be an off/on again problem this season due to our roster. I also think not having a solid backup PG...again....will be our undoing in another game or two. I think we have a solid team that on any given night can beat anyone. Over the course of a long season, well...as the saying goes...water finds it's level. I see UT as being around 6-8 in the SEC. We're around 15 in the nation. I would love to get a #1 seed, but this team isn't anywhere near that level. I can see us in the 5-6 seed range. Would take a sweet 16 spot right now and rejoice. Just don't think this team has what it takes to get there. With this roster, we are one ankle away from being in a world of hurt. I always look for injury to visit the one player we can't afford to lose in any sport, but with this years team, losing anyone for an extended period would be catastrophic. Hey, this is the roster and direction Barnes chose for this year. Hope it works out.

The stupidity on this board never ceases to amaze. And it’s mostly driven by insecurity or fear that someone might “disrespect the Power T.”

There is not a single tracker of records or statistics that counts a neutral site game as a road game. It is home, away, and neutral. It isn’t a matter of opinion. It isn’t up for debate. There are no technicalities. Neutral site game are different entities than road games.

Refs are bad every game. I don’t even let it bother me much anymore. I watched the Alabama Kentucky game and the refs were terrible and I hoped both teams lost.
