In terms of the teams that are remaining at that point in the tournament, yes, but I don't think baseball is anywhere near as deep as basketball. The NCAAT, especially over the last decade, is a total crap shoot where it seems like about any one of about a dozen different teams could win it.

Ole Miss-#64 team wins it all last year after being garbage all year. So I don’t think that’s true. You also have Arky and Florida St who are perennial contenders that haven’t take home hardware.

Cannot believe we lost that game because Julian Phillips didn’t dunk a basketball and one of our best FT shooters misses the shot.

None of that was the reason we lost. Those were crucial mistakes, but Vescovi leaving a guy wide open to win the game was a mistake you can’t make.

That wasn’t his only mistake tonight. He is one of our ball handlers and never looked back for the down court pass after a rebound . Ball hits him in his butt and goose out of bounds. I will agree the refs were terrible, but Viscove Miss the front end of the 1&1 . I could tell he was not in the right mind set when he kept drying his hands before he took the shot.

My question is how does Vandy play a whole last half with 1 foul up to 17 seconds and their next 6 were intentional so either their the best D to stifle a team with just 1 foul for a half or the refs missed multiple fouls just weird Vandy played great.

Somehow we had 12 fouls & Vandy shot 12 FTAs. But Vandy has 13 and we only get 3 FTAs.

ZZ was pressing bad, Julian just needs to score the bucket and Santi has to hit that FT. Tough loss, but Vandy always plays us tough we were 1-4 as a top 10 against them in Nashville sucks it’s now 1-5.

Yes but it's a bad loss after 3 badly played games in a row. You'd think we would have responded after Florida, then after barely beating Auburn playing like crap. But no....

Was posing same question about JP in an earlier post. I think Barnes has scared some of these guys out of being dominant Alpha’s on the court and we’re seeing the result.
