Extra time added clock made it good. Agains o home clock keeper and they still added time to clock. Announcers said Stackhiuse called time out. Time out was called on floor by layer with ball. Official near stack house never stopped the clock. Official names Stewart did.

We are a good team (thankful for that) that can play really great or not so great. You can say that about a lot of teams this year…doesn’t make me have high expectations come tourney time unless we can figure out how to play at consistently high level.

Congrats BasketVols, you made my 6 year old cry over a TN loss for the first time ever, in any sport. I sympathized with him and also smiled because his fandom is officially embedded in him; he hates Vanderbilt and sees them as our lesser.

Poor kid. I’m 60 and can’t tell you how many time the Vols have made me cry…..

He’s the perfect coach for us. He overachieves in the regular season and ***** the bed in the post season. That is literally our history in almost every sport here.

That’s the catch 22: play ****** during the regular season and you don’t even have an opportunity to crap the bed in March. I’m beginning to think many TN fans would prefer that.

Remember Michigan? They had a ton of injuries and a really disappointing season. Got healthy at the right time and had a nice finish. We can do the same.

Why is it that when Tn gets a 5* they never live up to that ranking ? Chandler was the closest. Phillips is weak and cant stay under control. I was never impressed with him early on and had hope that he would improve but he is the same as he was early on. I got blasted after the AU game when I said TN will be lucky to beat Vandy. This team has problems and it all started when Barnes changed the lineup. JJJ was never going to break or make this team, he is a streaky shooter and this team was actually playing better before he came back. I hope his injury is not bad. Vescovi, unless its a wide open 3 , he is about useless.

Barnes has had Tennessee playing over his historical level almost the entire time he's been here.

We have a lot of fans that seem to expect Elite Eights and Final Fours. Tennessee has made an Elite Eight once in its history, and has never made a Final Four.

Why not is the question?
Look at the history of the NCAA and some of the teams that's made FF or won it all.
It's damn depressing.

I’m of the mindset that if you make the tournament enough you eventually will make a run. I want a guy that is going to put us in the tournament year in and year out and then just take my chances when that time comes. Barnes does that for me. Now I’ll be as pissed as everyone else when we get bounced but I still would rather live in the tournament than be bubble watching every other year

Absolutely bad loss but I thought the TO Vandy called and the refs adding .8 sec was very questionable. To me, I thought the referee was raising his hand to stop the clock before the Vandy player came set and signaled for a TO. I understand the referee is told a TO is going to be called, but he can't anticipate it before it is physically asked for. With that said, we only score 63 points against one of the worse defenses in the SEC, we deserve to lose. This team better find something within itself soon or it will be like ever year, 2nd round is our ceiling.
