This season & last are the “missing on bigs” catching up to us.

I sure hope they add one in the next class. Fulky is a quality hybrid, not quite got enough bulk to bang inside in the SEC.

Grant & Admiral both were 235+ guys. We got a lotta length that’s not fast enough to be elite perimeter guys but not thick enough to be inside. It’s a weird dynamic on this roster right now.

Really wish Uros could give us 12-15 quality minutes a night.

None the other kid is a top 50 off guard that loves D. So again we will be Guard heavy especially if one of Johnson or Springer come back. We will need to hit the portal beam me up scotty a big that can play. In CHRIST Alone

What’s really sad is Kent, Walker & Burns aren’t really doing anything at their new schools of merit & two of them stepped down a level in competition.

So they were legit misses. Burns more than the other two since he was highly rated.

Biggest difference in the game was turnovers/fast break points especially early on. Fulky and Vescovi had really bad nights. Can’t have 9 turnovers between them.

Serious lack of production outside the top 7, which is really glaring when one of them is out. Springer is by far our most polished offensive players and brings a different dimension to this team. IMO he’s the only one who can drive and break a defense down by either scoring or passing.

One thing to add on the rotation. It’s seemed a bit off the last few games. I get Barnes is trying to find something from the bench guys, but rotating them in to where they’re all playing 2-5 minutes doesn’t help anybody.

If springers out I think Gaines should get some extra minutes, with the caveat that he’s not allowed to shoot anything outside 3 feet. I’d also give ON all the backup post minutes and hope he can develop into something. He’s bar far the most physically talented. Today he was first off the bench I believe and played 2 minutes, then never saw the court again.

Olivier just seems to be thinking too much, he set a nice screen then rolled to the rim...without looking for the ball?

He has so many mental lapse moments like that it’s gotta frustrate Barnes.

I don’t disagree, the game looks like it’s too quick for him right now and he’s thinking about everything. I just think we need to develop a bench option in the post and he’s our best bet IMO. Give him 10 minutes a night and see if he can figure it out.

Absolutely agree, wish we had seen more of him when we were OOC & smashing teams by 20.

Losing streak started like I predicted, teams have figured out the Vols offense and defense. They have allowed 73+ points in the last two games, they are not improving at all.....
