It might seem that way, but word is he‘s quite good in practice. Very capable supposedly. That particular three, if I remember correctly, they backed off and the shot clock had counted down a good bit. I really don’t think his intention initially was to take the shot.Am I the only one who wishes he would quit shooting 3’s? He belongs 12’ or closer IMO
To me, it’s not a question of whether he can hit it, it’s a question of whether he’s one of our top options from 3 which the numbers clearly show he’s not. He is however one of if not the best option from the paint. Know your strengths and focus your efforts there - pretty proven coaching philosophy. He can hit it, if it's ran thru the offense, one a game is not unreasonable, imo. He has a great stroke, one day he is going to get hot and hit like 3 on 3 shots
Bet he and Coach have discussed shot selection, and I will go with them. Bet it goes like this, Don’t want him shooting long 2’s and needs to shoot some long shots so they will close out on him and open the lane up.Am I the only one who wishes he would quit shooting 3’s? He belongs 12’ or closer IMO
I agree, but they run him out there on occasion for a reason. Aidoo just doesn't wander out to the 3-point line for the hell of it, it's part of a play and he's been told to shoot it when he's open, sparingly, imoTo me, it’s not a question of whether he can hit it, it’s a question of whether he’s one of our top options from 3 which the numbers clearly show he’s not.
