I only watched one other Florida game, but from including the game against us I would love to have Samuel and that Australian freshman in orange.

On nights where DK is feeling it, we’re going to feed him. Everyone else having their shots reduced doesn’t appear to cause any issues amongst the team. Now, the question is when DK has a night where shots aren’t falling-and it will happen-can SV and/or JJJ step up to fill the void? I’m not sure if we know for sure yet. Aidoo and ZZ have shown that they can score with some consistency for the most part, but we really need at least one of SV and JJJ to find some consistency.

He is actually pretty decent at kicking it out or feeding someone going down the lane. He probably would have had 5 assists if others would hit wide open shots and/or catch the ball in the lane and deliver.

Samuel plays hard and rebounds his ass off. A taller Awaka. The Australian is very raw but definitely wasn’t lacking effort.

Imagine being an Indiana Hoosier fan. They were our competition for both Dalton Knecht and Chris Ledlum. We took them both and so they filled their roster elsewhere and they suck this year lol. I bet they are livid seeing what Knecht is doing.

NC State comes to mind.

Santi & JJJ haven’t suddenly forgotten how to play offense. They are just not getting many opportunities.

If you hit 40% of your shots, you still have to take at least 10 attempts to get to double digits and even that will require knocking down a 3 or 2.

We just need to keep seeing the defense played at a high level, Florida was under 30% for the night in FGs & 3PTs.

Right now, Dillione reminds me of Edwards, not sure if its they're both wore #1 or the tentativeness, they both play with. Maybe with more playing time the comfort & confidence level will rise, and he will shine.

Fans just have to have the same mindset the players have, just win.

Also I wasn’t trying to imply DK wasn’t a 1st rounder, just meant he could improve his stock…but if he keeps scoring like this against SEC teams he’s also improving his stock.

I think Estrella has to be force fed minutes. Since Barnes isn’t the type to hand minutes out like candy on Halloween, though, it falls on Estrella to keep doing in practice whatever he did to earn minutes today. The more experience he gets, the better he will get.

Dillione has to play with more confidence on the defensive end. That’s where it all starts for him imo. He looks like he doubts his ability to defend which in turn inhibits his ability to guard at a high level.

We definitely need to keep working that bench for minutes. DK is not going to average 35 a night, so we’re going to need some big minute and scoring from guys like Gainey, Dillion, Estrella, etc.

Estrella played pretty well tonight. He and Dillione both need more minutes, and poor Gainey cannot purchase a basket with real American dollars. His first 3-point shot tonight was almost entirely in the basket and then rimmed out. Poor guy.

Vescovi is the only player that looks disconnected with the play of this team... Vescovi is and has been a great Vol... But he needs to figure out his role and get out of his feelings and do what it takes.... His body language wasn't good for the team... We are gonna need him
