Officiating is an excuse and not why we've been losing. Turnovers and horrible 3pt shooting has been our issue. I don't expect the 3's to keep falling for Mizzou at a 50% clip in the 2nd half like they did the 1st. We gotta stop shooting so many damn 3's. We were 8/15 on 2pt shots in the 1H.

I agree that the fanbase and idiot AD's screwed our football team for years. I'm not sure the officiating is as bad as some days, but definitely a few of our players aren't playing up to standard. Plus, as I said, Missouri has become a Stephen Curry shooting machine.

The TBA crowd only gets loud when we're playing well and does not help when we're struggling. Nothing new, it's been that way since I starting following.

Unbelievable shooting from Mizz. We have had many open looks but again just not shooting well. We should be equal with them based off many open looks we missed. See what happens this half. In CHRIST Alone

Hopefully they don't bank in 8 threes in the second half. Back to back games with trash teams draining a lot of contested shots. Play your game and cut the turnovers. I'd still come out with a hard foul or two to get the crowd going, energy flowing, and to force the refs to get the chippyness/physical play in check.

Stats…we are 11/25 and they are 17/33 field goals….3/10 from three and they are 8/16. We have seven turnovers. They are fouling more and getting called half the time. Rebounds about even. We’re are 7/8 FTs and they are 2/3. Go Vols! Make shots and block theirs.

Unbelievable first half. Some told me that Mizz would win today and i responded that TN would bounce back. Well, I was wrong. This is lengthy so here it is my $.02.
1. Not athletic- Phillips only one who can go to rim. He must get more involved!!!
2. Slow- Mizz is quicker and faster. TN looks slow.
3. Defense - Mizz shooting over 50% in three and title field goal. Have to get a hand in their face.
4. No quality big men- slow, can’t defend consistently. ON is too inconsistent and Uros plays like he is 6’6. He should dominate the boards and dunk “outback’s.” He averages what, 2 rebounds a game? I’d give the min to Awaka. Let him gain the experience. Barnes said ON provides more experience but what doyou have to lose? ON IS TOO SLOW!
5. Turnovers/guard play - ZZ is better off the bench but can’t finish at the rim consistently and forces it. He and Vescovi both had two horrible passes. ON throws it away. Mizz is in our face.
6. Offense - we rely on the three ball as we don’t have a “go to” guy. Having one would enable us to get to the foul line more. Missed easy layup and put back.

Mizz is getting some easy baskets on half court sets. They are shooting well and our guys looked confused when Mizz went zone. We look confused on D, too.

I hope we come back but Idk if this team has the mental toughness. Santi will have someone on him every possession. ZZ and Key have to get a run going.
edit- Phillips is injured? Poor shooting to start 2nd half.

Go Vols.
