The Official #6 Tennessee vs. Missouri Game Thread, 6:00 PM ET, SEC Network

He's the head coach?
Gotcha. So leader takes the blame, players get the credit thing. I gotcha. No problem with that as I’d take the blame for it if I’m Barnes. I personally don’t think this one was on him as much as the lack of execution by players in the critical moments but some of it certainly is on Barnes, you just believe more is on him for this one and I believe more in the players. I get you though.

Up 3 with 4.3 seconds left and them kinda out of control was a really bad time to foul on purpose. I'd rather risk overtime at that point.

If there's maybe 1.2 seconds or something, sure, foul. That way they have to miss and hope for a rebound.

Oh well, a lot of mistakes and bad play all over the floor tonight and blame to go around from coaches to players.

If we had fouled they would not have had the opportunity to shoot a three. Going to overtime is infinitely better than losing.
They hit a lucky shot. The bottom line is we should’ve put them away prior to that. You can’t foul up 2 because you’re afraid of a lucky shot beating you though.

What exactly was he supposed to do tonight? Shoot the free throws for Vescovi? Honestly I thought he made some nice lineup adjustments that helped get us back in the game, especially with no JJJ and no Phillips for most of the game. Now why it took him until halftime to make those changes is a fair criticism.
Um, you don't think Barnes gets any blame for the team being unprepared for Missouri's offense?

Unbelievable.

Being number 6 in the country? Previously number 2? That same coach and team...
How many points will the selection committee award us for those rankings when it comes time to make the brackets?

Here's a better question for you: what do you think we'll be ranked by the time the tournament starts?

Here's the best question of all: how many rounds do you think this team is going in the tournament?

Key brought us back from 17 down with 5 of 9 from 3 and 6 of 6 ft shots
His last shot was at 5:31 and he never got another shot still led all Vols with 23 points
HOW DUMB IS THAT ???

This and ZZ's last foul made the diff... changed the line up, changed the gnat D

bet Ky would trade Cal for Barnes any day. This was not on Barnes on the final few seconds.
